Brainhead

"BRAINHEAD was formed in April 2002. It consist of 4 young local guys that love to listen and to play music at the first place. They were influenced by a lot of bands and solo performer around the world. They have been gigging around Kuala Lumpur and other few states such as Penang and Melaka. Their first appearance was in May 2002 for a charity gig organized by UiTM Shah Alam. BRAINHEAD also has been competing for the "Rentak Juara The Rhythm Of Champion" before ( a slot in RTM 2).For the first time in their history, the song 'DAN UNTUK ESOK' that was composed by BRAINHEAD has been played on air ( XFRESH.FM ) in early 2005. Although it is something lame to certain people, but to them, its an honour after years of hard work. Its a stepping stone to these young MALAYSIAN guys to become more successful. BRAINHEAD are pretty active and still struggling nowadays compared to their early days in the local independent music scene. They feel thankful to Almighty ALLAH for giving them the talent to compose and to play music even though without any formal music education background.
