You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison is the fourth song on My Chemical Romance's second album Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, released in 2004. This song is about a man who is a criminal. He thinks that the police will never be able to catch him but he is arrested and sent to prison. The song talks about the man's life in prison. He is abused and prison raped and thinks about killing himself. Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance said in an interview that this song was written about a game of spin the bottle, where he was made to kiss Bert McCracken of The Used. Bert McCracken does backup vocals for this song and the high-pitched laugh at the final second fading into the song after this. In the story, the souls of gay criminals are captured.
