Frequency Cannon (FCannon) consists of five not so young musicians from Kuala Lumpur. The guys who form Frequency Cannon are like their name implies, loose cannons on stage. Their shows can only be described as electrifying and high octane. The bands motto is to have fun and to see everyone else doing the same. You can’t expect anything less from a band, which represents high sonic energy. The band can be quite pugnacious within itself but that does not get in the way of their love and dedication for music.
The band recorded their first demo in vocalist, Kua Chee’s bedroom in the year 2000 and started hitting the studios around February and March 2004 to record DIY EP. They say there is nothing they would change about the group because they are happy and proud to be who they are.
Crowned Grand Champions for ASTRO HITZ.TV’s BLASTOFF Competition in 2005, Fcannon was lucky enough to be a part of Malaysia’s Rock the World 6 in 2005.
FCannon is currently Kua Chee (vocals), Azril Dino (drums), Azrul (bass), Siva (rhythm guitar) and Yuri (lead guitar). This is as good as FCannon gets. FCannon plays music that comes from the heart; music that makes you want to jump and shout and have fun with your friends. FCannon enjoys putting up high-energetic live shows for everyone and love going crazy onstage with their stage antics. Come join the fun when Fcannon’s on!
FCannon past gigs includes playing for the 2004 Asian X games, The 2004 Chronix Tour (Penang & KL leg), 2004 French Festival (Fete De La Musique) Siti Nurhaliza Fantasia Tour at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, Rock the World 6 just to name a few.
Frequency Cannon is now in the studios and plans to release their 1st Debut Album by June 2007. They have a music video out for their second single "Fame N Glory" available for streaming on Youtube.com & myspace.com. In the meantime, they are in the process of shooting another music video for their 3rd single as well as to coincide with their album launch.
